California Winter

Taken just north of Santa Monica Pier on Will Rodgers State Beach, Santa Monica, CA. This was taken during the winter of 2023-2024. It was a "cold" day, high of near 55F. I was in California visiting family and decided to take an evening walk on the beach. The lighting and sunset were perfect. The contrast between warm beach sunsets and cold winter winds, shadows the contrast between reality and perception. I was cold on that beach too, but I wanted it to be warmer.
